Herding East Stock Dogs offers one on one sheep herding training in Southern Alberta. At HE Stock Dogs, we specialize in soft training methods with new Stock Dog Handlers.

Kier grew up on a sheep farm East of Airdrie with a kennel full of competitive stock dogs. His dad, Milt, has been a competitive stock dog trainer for years and found great success throughout his time. Kier has always been around the stock dog community and naturally inherited much of his Dad's knowledge. Four years ago, he partnered with his dog Sweep, a four-year-old male Border Collie and found success almost immediately. Since then, Sweep and Kier have won several arena trials and are a staple in the sudden death finals of many more. During their first four years together, they have been in the Calgary Stampede World Stock Dog Competition Finals all four years. Kier is passionate about teaching others the world of competitive stock dogs and the benefits it brings to both the dog and the handler
